Introduction — Mysteries of the Deep
The Mariana Trench is the deepest scar on Earth’s surface—a 1,500-mile arc of oceanic darkness where the seafloor drops nearly seven miles into the planet. At its lowest point, called the Challenger Deep, pressure rises high enough to crush steel, sunlight never arrives, and sound becomes the only reliable messenger.
For decades, this abyss has served as a natural vault for ocean mysteries. Its isolation has fueled speculation about strange creatures, unexplained signals, and geological phenomena that behave unlike anything found in shallower waters.
Among these enigmas, none captured scientific attention quite like the “Biotwang.” First recorded by autonomous underwater gliders in 2014, the sound lasted only three seconds—but its structure was so unusual that it baffled researchers. It began with a low, organic groan reminiscent of a whale call, then snapped upward into a sharp, metallic sweep that sounded almost synthetic.
After years of uncertainty, NOAA researchers used AI-enhanced spectrogram analysis to sift through more than 200,000 hours of ocean recordings. The system matched the Biotwang’s timing and acoustic signature to the migration patterns of Bryde’s whales across the western Pacific. A later field survey confirmed the match when nine whales were observed producing the exact sound near the Mariana Islands.
Because the trench is so rarely explored—and its acoustic environment is so unlike normal ones—I selected it as a blind target for remote viewing. The goal was simple: to see whether viewers could perceive anything meaningful in a location defined by darkness, pressure, and sound. What emerged was a surprising assemblage of impressions of acoustics, artificial structures, mnemonic patterns, and deep-ocean anomalies.
This report presents the data, the coordinate analysis, and the symbolic interpretations that followed.
Part I — The Target: 8664-5355
Target Location: The Mariana Trench Marine National Monument, approximately 200 miles east/northeast of Guam, at the bottom of the water column.
Tasking: The viewer will target, describe, and locate any prominent source of non-natural, artificial, or technological activity currently present on or beneath the seafloor at or near this location, if any.
Context: This region is the epicenter of NOAA’s most prominent Biotwang recordings.
Remote Viewers:
John Dixon (JD014)
David Powell (OWL003)
Project Manager: John Adams
Part II — Core Data Synthesis
When AOL (Analytical Overlay) is removed, both viewers converge on several shared themes: acoustics, structured hollows, artificial arrays, and anomalous environmental behavior.
1. Acoustic & Mnemonic Impressions
JD014 notes “guitar acoustics,” “acoustics,” and explicitly writes “MNEMONIC.” He describes a system designed to “deliver a desired form & state of matter from Point A to B” through a “pipeline” or “grapevine”—a chain of communication.
OWL003 reports “looping,” “scraping,” “staticy,” and “screeching/clanking” sounds. He describes a “light frequency” that “comes in waves.”
These impressions align strikingly with the Biotwang’s structure: a rhythmic, metallic, looping acoustic pattern that puzzled scientists for years because it behaved more like a complex signal than a typical animal call.
Mnemonic Parallels in Whale Communication Marine biologists have long noted mnemonic structures in whale calls:
Humpback whales use rhyming phrase endings and compressed motifs to memorize shifting musical themes.
Sperm whales use combinatorial “codas”—tempo and rhythm variations forming a repeatable alphabet for group memory.
The viewers’ impressions of mnemonic acoustics are consistent with known whale communication strategies.
2. Artificial Sub-Structure Impressions
JD014 sketches a large, wide, semi-hollow structure labeled “A1,” reminiscent of an inflatable dome or observatory. Inside, he perceives a “stoney, mossy/vined maze” with “mirror-like hallways.” He mentions a “Sound Particle Amplificator” using diffraction and laser transmission.
OWL003 identifies the target as “artificial,” describing an “integrated sub structure” with an “entrance” built into a sheer vertical landform (the trench wall). He sketches tubes, capsules, and a central vertical shaft emitting plasma or a forcefield.
Both viewers independently bypass the water column and perceive a structured, hollow array embedded inside or beneath the rock face. These impressions may reflect symbolic modeling of complex acoustic arrays, trench-wall cavities, or deep ocean sensor grids.
3. Nonsensical Geometry & Environmental Behavior
OWL003 describes the environment as “nonsensical,” with impressions of “light gates,” “time travel,” and “opening a portal to the remote.”
JD014 describes “shapeshifting without saying shapeshifting” and operations dependent on “alternating locations based on moon cycles and light currents.”
Deep-ocean physics can produce effects that feel surreal: sound bends, refracts, and folds through pressure gradients; sonar behaves like light; and acoustic shadows create phantom structures. To a blind viewer, these phenomena can feel portal-like or geometrically impossible.
4. Governing Intelligence Impressions
JD014 identifies a “governmental-scientific” entity he calls “Natura Obscura” — a shadow-agency analogue governed by a “committee of 9” (with only 8 present).
OWL003 perceives a “corrupt mastermind… with a Kabbalistic mindset” and life forms with “markings/tattoos.”
These impressions may represent symbolic overlays — archetypal structures the mind uses to model complex, hidden, or inaccessible systems.
Summary Table
Dynamic Element | JD014 | OWL003 |
Primary Concept | Mnemonic sound transmission & “data sharing” | Artificial subterranean structure emitting light/frequency |
Physical Shape | Dome, maze, pipelines, slotted tubing | Mountain entry, vertical chambers, tubes/capsules |
Sensory Details | Guitar acoustics, chemical/sulfur smells | Metallic screeching, gassy/acrid smells |
The “Why” | Study of outer space, black holes, light currents | Hidden resting place or ancient tech |
David's summary concludes:
"The target is a land feature that has been disturbed. I sense dispersed energy here- rocky, possibly motionless. I have a radiating energy moving straight up. I am also sensing some type of light based phenomenon that is difficult to describe. There is an opening at the base of this land feature that feels pertinent to the target.
I also have multiple free-standing structures above and below the land feature. I'm picking up on lateral movement, possibly underground. Something here, within the land, feels damaged in some way. This part of the structure is very long and somewhat narrow. I feel some cultural significance here. I'm getting basalt, and architectural impressions. Something here feels old and antiquated. Gassy smells here. I have the impression something happening here seems "nonsensical".
There is a corrupt mastermind behind all this. Someone with a kabbalistic mindset. I picked up on a couple of lifeforms, at least one had markings on their skin of some kind. I am sensing a final resting place of something very old."
Meanwhile, John's summary concludes:
A deeper understanding of lasers and light, and method of "shapeshifting, is considered a tool in the shed.
The facility's frequency of communication or hours of operations (lack of a better term because the concept is complex and intentionally divergent away from "normal" or "majority" schools of logic, theory, and thinking. Depend on alternating locations based on moon cycles. "Light currents". A science of using or dispersing laser strands with data to study blackholes.
This organization somewhat has the capability or "right" (self-proclaimed right - and claimed to be needed in order for balance). A committee of 9 is what governs the agency/organization - however only 8 have been present for some time now - like a family bloodline was removed - Game of Thrones-like.
Part III — Decoding the Coordinates
JD014 produced three coordinate sets. When the third set is interpreted through typical RV distortions — digit displacement, inversion, sign flips — they align with three symbolic geographic nodes:
1. Mnemonic Hollow — Zagros / Shanidar
The first coordinate lands near Shanidar Cave, a site associated with the first human remains, believed to be those of a Neanderthal infant from the Mousterian era of the Middle Paleolithic period, discovered in 1953 .
2. Artificial Array — Gobi / Jiuquan or Caspian Shelf
The second coordinate (depending on East/West interpretation) lands either:
in the Gobi Desert near Jiuquan’s vast artificial tracking arrays, or
on the Caspian Sea shelf — an isolated marine zone.
Both locations echo themes of artificial networks and liminal marine edges.
3. Abyssal Trench — Mariana / Biotwang
The third coordinate, when inverted (41.142 → 14.142; −73.417 → 143.417), lands directly in the Mariana Trench Marine National Monument — just west of Rota and Guam.
This is the exact pelagic zone where underwater gliders recorded the Biotwang.
JD014’s Note: He writes that the coordinates act as “stepping stones” or “clue bearings,” and that “one set may correlate to a different location in space (no visible vector).”
Interpretive Aspect: In CRV, when a target is too alien or inaccessible (such as the pitch-black trench floor), the mind may “slide” toward terrestrial analogues it can model. The three coordinate landings may represent symbolic anchors rather than literal locations.
Remote Viewing Sketches:
Conclusion — What Remains Unmapped
Whether the impressions reflect deep-ocean sensor grids, symbolic models of acoustic physics, or simply the mind’s attempt to navigate an extreme environment, the correlations are noteworthy. Two blind viewers, separated by space and time, independently described:
structured hollows
artificial arrays
mnemonic acoustics
metallic loops
tubes, shafts, and amplification systems
secretive scientific operations
And through digit inversion, one viewer’s coordinates landed directly in the Biotwang zone.
This does not prove hidden trench structures. It does not claim secret bases or unknown intelligences, but what it does show is how human perception interacts with the deepest, least-understood acoustic environment on Earth—and how the abyss can echo back impressions that feel technological, mnemonic, or otherworldly.
The Mariana Trench remains one of the last unmapped frontiers. If nothing else, this data offers a compelling lens through which to reflect on the mysteries still resting in the vast, pressure-sealed dark of our oceans.
